Remembering 9/11

On the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, citizens of Fort Wayne came together to remember those lost and to place American flags at the Law Enforcement/Firefighters Memorial of Allen County. We will continue to fulfill our pledge to NEVER FORGET.

Beginning that same day, the FWFD joined efforts with Lendingahand.net, a community organization working to collect for our troops overseas.  Those interested are encouraged to purchase items of the troop's  wish list.  and drop them off at any FWFD station between now and October 11.  All Items collected will then be shipped directly to US troops serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.
