Pay and Benefits effective 5/2011

Salary Classifications:

Probationary 1st year/Firefighter I    $43,256.00

Journeyman/Firefighter II/III    $48.062.00

Pension:

Eligible for retirement after 20 years.

 

Vacation:

Vacation days available after 1st full year of service

with department in accordance with contract.

 

Hours of Work:

24 hours on shift schedule followed by 48 hours off duty.

 

Training:

22 weeks of academy consisting of extensive fire and

hands-on skills training and certification including NFPA

Firefighter I and II and EMT Basic.
